A grasshopper chirps
A bull frog burps
The bog is alive
A blackbird sings
A honeybee brings
Nectar to her hive
A carp roles water
A crayfish plays potter
The bayou will thrive
A man glides along
A chant or a song
To keep the marsh alive
A tale he would tell
A child held under his spell
